After my last video I had a few comments of people how dark and hopeless the outside world is with everything going on. And I completely understand where you are coming from. When looked at it from this perspective, be it politics, crime, violence, religions etc., it can seem very hopeless and dark. It makes you feel small, powerless and it makes you want to shut down and hide or sometimes even strike out.

I do not deny that it may look like it, but everything that is happening is not really new, it has been around for thousands of years, the only difference is that now we have global news and the internet, so these things can and do come up to be seen, addressed and new/better choices can be made.

Everything that is going on in the world at large is just a reflection of where mass consciousness is at and changing mass consciousness starts with each and every single one of us.

So I have a challenge for each and everyone of you who dares to take it. ?

Open Your World
One is based on the mind, it is all about achieving, showing off, being 'better' than others and looking for abundance outside of you. It feels harsh and it is based on lack. Mainly because there is always something better or newer to have or to achieve.

The other is based on the heart, it comes from inside of you or is based on what is already given freely by the Universe. It feels warm, beautiful and there is nothing to achieve.

So why don't we base our abundance on these heart based values, instead of the mind based ones?

Real abundance starts from the inside, it begins with opening up to your inner abundance. An abundance that is not dependant on outside circumstances. It means opening the heart to the love that you are and that is all around you.

It is the simplicity of enjoying everything that is around you and connecting from the heart  with all the wonderful and diverse dear ones, animals and plants that share this beautiful planet with you.

It means following your intuition and the prompts that your heart (which is the connection to your higher levels and the Universe) give you. It means following your passion and putting your heart in everything you do.

Our expectations are a big obstacle to receive the gifts the Universe has to offer.
So why don't we base our abundance on these heart based values, instead of the mind based ones?

Abundance for so many ist to have a lot of money, driving an expensive car, owning a big mansion, being successfull and generally having all those material things, that are perceived to make you happy.

But what about the abundance of love, abundance of health, abundance of beautiful heartbased relationships (even the beloved of your heart), abundance of nature, abundance of joy and enjoyment?

Can you see and more importantly feel the difference between the two above?

One is based on the mind, it is all about achieving, showing off, being 'better' than others and looking for abundance outside of you. It feels harsh and it is based on lack. Mainly because there is always something better or newer to have or to achieve.

The other is based on the heart, it comes from inside of you or is based on what is already given freely by the universe. It feels warm, beautiful and there is nothing to achieve.

What if we let all these things that we can not personally influence be what they are for a day, a week or even longer and look at what we can do in our immediate surroundings?

What if you look at everything around you and just be grateful for where you are and what you do have? If you have a roof over your head where you can rest your head without being exposed to the weather elements is surely something to be grateful for. Your body is still breathing and there are so many things you CAN do. What about being grateful for that?

When was the last time you really looked at your partner, family, friends or even co-workers and asked yourself what is REALLY going on with them? When did you have the last meaningful conversation with them where you connected with them from the heart and felt the love and compassion within yourself, appreciating their and your journey?

When did you tell them the last time how much you loved and cared for them and really meant it? Or did some fun stuff for the sake of having fun and not talking about all the perceived negative things happening in the outside world or everyday chores and things to do?

When was the last time you smiled at a stranger, just for the sake of smiling at them and brightening up their day? Or acknowledging the server in the restaurant or the cashier and thanking them for all the work the do to make your life easier.

Having conversations with others without judging them, opening your heart and connecting with others, acknowledging the beauty and light being-ness within them, letting it shine brightly within you.

Consciously asking yourself where you judge things and others without even knowing what is really going on and if you do, opening up to find out who they truly are, connecting in a way that makes both of you feel better is a huge step into changing the world around you.

Consciously looking at others, seeing all the things that you have in common with them instead of seeing the differences and putting them in a box without even knowing what is really going on with them.

Because when it comes down to all of it, each and everyone of us just wants to be loved and acknowledged for who we are.

These are just a few small things you can do to let your world open up and make the world at large a better place for all of us to live in.

Have fun playing with this my friends.

Thank you for being here and being you.

I love you all
Elke
